This is the northernmost stop of the series which will stop next in Halifax, UK on September 13th. The competition went down with thirty-eigth competitors from as far north as Aberdeen, Scotland, and as far south as London, England. Five hundred spectators were in attendance to enjoy the action as Lynsey Ashdown took the womens title, Pete Meadows the boys under sixteen title, and “Big” Will Smith in the mens division....
Full article Thu, 21 Aug 2008 09:55:10 http://vociferousvoid.org/story.html?StoryID=2708200181 Seasonal Worker Shortage - Utterances of 'bollocks' on the decline in CO http://vociferousvoid.org/story.html?StoryID=2708200179 I've done my fair share of traveling to resorts to snowboard. After witnessing this activity in various places, I've been struggling with a very important question: what is the proper pronunciation of the word “gaper”. Everyone seems to have their own take on it and I'd like to take a little time to investigate the etymology of the word....
Full article Fri, 1 Aug 2008 10:51:36 http://vociferousvoid.org/story.html?StoryID=2708200178
